Capt. Thomas Barlow grew up fishing the open waters
and back lakes of Galveston’s West Bay. In his 35 years
of fishing the Texas Coast, he’s learned a tremendous
amount about all our native fish species, and has
become quite skilled at catching the “big three”.

Capt. Thomas guides mainly out of the Galveston Bay
Complex, but occasionally ventures to some of the other
bay systems along Texas’ sprawling coastline.

Galveston Bay is a tremendous fishery that offers wade
fishing, drift fishing, sight-casting as well as many other
techniques for a multitude of  species. If you want it,
Galveston Bay’s got it!

Most trips consist of targeting trout or redfish,
depending on your preferences and time of year.
On many trips, we can catch all three of our main target
species, along with other surprises like cobia, black drum and sheepshead.

Capt. Thomas fishes out of a 22-foot Mosca Bay Raider flats boat powered by a 175hp Suzuki outboard. This is a large, shallow-running boat with tons of room and is a great platform to fish from. If you like to wade fish, this boat has low sides for easy in-and-out access.
